When Nick and I went to Monnik her ordered the Brussel sprouts. I’ve never seen him eat anything so slow, he was really savoring them. I didn’t fully appreciate it in the moment but it was so beautiful to watch honestly. Like to see and feel him slow down and really enjoy something felt almost sacred to watch. I’m getting emotional just recounting this story. This makes me want to learn how to cook well.
